Lectric Fx Momento Delay / PT2399 EHX Memory Man

Ok, another monster of a layout...

Here is a delay based on the earliest version of EHX Memory Man (not Deluxe version). The obsolete and super rare SAD1024 BBDs is replaced by a PT2399 and is supposed to share almost the same sonic qualities, i.e. dark and murky. The rest of the audio circuit is pretty much the same as the old vintage units except for some upgrades to the reduce the noise floor. Also there is a voltage doubler with a 15v regulator added to achieve the requierd headroom found in the vintage units.

Schematic, more info and setup guide is avaiable HERE.

OKKO Diablo Boost+ version

Several versions has been made of this great sounding overdrive  and this version is called "Boost+.The layout is based on the schematic at FSB but I took the liberty to do some changes that could be useful.

First, the J FETs remains to be unknown so I added a Bias trimpot to be able to use several types of J Fets.

Second, the internal 9v/18v switch is now panel mounted.

Third, Level+ control is now external....simply because there are too many trimpots already!

All the trimpots (except for the Bias) is on the edge of the board for the option to build an 11 knob overdribe...:-p.

Danelectro 3699 Fuzz

A tweaked Foxx Tone Machine that some people have requested. Once again it is traced by TOFO

So what makes it different from a stock Tone Machine? Lots of oddball resistor values, twice as big input, output and decoupling caps, Shottky diodes and a Mid Boost switch at the tonestack which can be subbed for a on/off/on switch for an extra Mid Scoop setting.

Dwarfcraft Devices Eau Claire Thunder V1

Traced by TOFO. This is a layout for the early big box version with three footswitches. It is based on the russian Big Muff but with more gain, reversed tonestack tone bypass switch, switchable and tunable feedback loop and a diode selector switch for the second clipping stage.

Electronic Audio Experiments Beholder

Another request. Here is something quite different; sort of a distressed sounding reverb/fuzz/noisebox. Schematic is avaiable HERE.

Redson 12 Overdrive

Here is a quite rare old japanese  low to mid gain overdrive that is supposed to sound really good.

A big thanks to Tobias for the trace!

Guyatone MM2 Metal Master w. mods

Schematic is avaiable HERE.

Some mods needed to be done to make it more versitale. First, the 3 position slider switch is replaced by a rotary switch. Second, High and Mid eq sections were hardwired internally. Since  they are pretty much the same as in Boss MT-2 High and Mid eq sections, it was pretty easy to add external pots for these.

Fulltone 2B

 Schematic is avaiable HERE.

Note that this is a buffered effect so the offboard wiring is a bit unusual.

ProCo / Fuzzdog 3-Band Rat

This is a request. Fuzzdog tweaked a the classic Rat circuit a few years ago. It includes the "Reutz mod", a diode selector switch for assymetric silicon/LED clipping and a Marshall 3-band tonestack. The output buffer is tweaked into a gain recovery J FET stage to cover up the lossy tonestack. For a Sunn/Supergroup tonestack, just replace the 33k resistor with 56k and 470pF capacitor with 270pF.

Runoffgroove UBE Screamer

Another interesting circuit design by ROG; using a hex invrter to emulate a Tubescreamer

Schematic and a writeup is avaiable HERE.

Note that the resistor labelled "X" in the schematic is replaced by a 500k trimpot so you dial in the right amount of clean signal. Set it at around 100k for single coils, 220k for normal humbuckers or set it to 500k for hot humbuckers.

Runoffgroove Omega

Quite an interesting little treble booster from ROG for Vox toanz. Schematic and a writeup is avaiable HERE.
