Nah, just staying home with the virus; thing is easily getting out of hand...:-p. Thanks for reminding me of the Daddy O. Gotta find a readable schematic before I can tackle that one, though.
the tone stack was not at all what i was expecting. in the original pedal, the bass/treble are controlled by the same knob, but i think having them split into two pots is super useful. when cranked, the treble has a massive upper-mid boost sound. really digging it on my mustang. matches the demos i've seen on youtube exactly.
Do you sleep dude? I remember the Daddy-o sounding good. I had one around Y2K. Always hated the fifties diner look of it though.

Hope you’re feeling better. I’ve managed to not get it somehow. Knock on wood.
ReplyDeleteman, i love when a build goes smoothly, and they fire up on the first try :) tag it!
ReplyDeleteThanks! This design looks pretty cool...

Hello
DeleteI think this is a tweaked OCD. What do you think of the tone? Like it?
Thanks
I think it is pretty close to a Maxon Distortion Master...
DeleteOk. Thanks
