  1. Can anyone recommend a good affordable guitar? So frustrated with my telecaster. Wanna throw it in the lake.

    3. I agree with Karl on that one, Casino's are the business

  2. Going to see if I can work up a daughterboard for the modulation. Also - it looks like Banzai has some of the 24 pin delay ICs in stock.

Also - please don't throw your guitar in any lake.

  4. Chicago Music Exchange sorta sold me a lemon. If you aren’t in Aerosmith those guys just don’t wanna know about it. But it’s become the only game in town. I like the guitar but I struggle with getting it to stay in tune and play well. I have a semi hollow Epi but I’ll check out the Casino. Lifelong John fan. Thanks guys.

    1. If a guitar doesn't stay in tune well it's normally down to the string trees or nut

Sometimes it's the tuners if they're really bad.
There is really very few reasons for a telecaster not to stay in tune.
Mine has a bigsby and stays in tune!

      Which model is it?

  5. The guitar was a mess when I bought it but all of the problems were hidden under the bridge and bigsby which some idiot installed incorrectly. I love the guitar but felt a little bit screwed when I eventually did a set up to improve the action and found oodles of hidden flaws. I’ve taken the bigsby apart and cleaned all of it and tried many different nut materials (bone is best). Stuck a Mastry bridge on it and locking tuners. Sounds great and I’ve greatly improved it but when you spend good money on a good guitar from a respectable shop and it’s a lotta money for you it’s frustrating. I chipped the rosewood behind the nut the other day and wanted to give up. I’m stubborn so I won’t pass the guitar on to another sucker. But F CME seriously. They don’t take you seriously unless you play in Aerosmith or some bs. Rant over.

  8. Hail. Finally got the bastard working. This is an absolutely amazing delay, no wonder it has become priceless.
Some corrections are needed to the layout tho:
    -correct linkr-s19 instead of q-s19
    -remove link t-u19
    -remove link k-r22
    -install link k-s19
    -install link s-u19
    -move 10k from c-h22 to d-i22

    Plug and enjoy!

-correct bridge r-s19 instead of q-s19

  9. p.s. I also adjusted trim 3 at 500kHz and trim 2 at 6.7MHz (max turn), and it sounded to my liking. Cheers!

  12. Hi Anders, just noticed that the Q19 - S19 link hasn't changed (currently this would ground the 5v supply). Should the link not be Q19 - R19 instead, I know crissip suggested R19 - S19 but I don't see how this could work. I'm no expert, so please correct me if I'm wrong

    1. You're correct. Fixed the Ground and 5v connections. I also moved the 10uF filter cap for the Vref rail.
