Aion Fx Antipode / Roland AF-60 Bee Gee

 Aion Fx take on a pretty rare, forgotten and old fuzz box by Roland. Some useful addons is made. A gain control is added and a series resistor before the volume control is removed for more overall output. 

I added a tone selector switch for the tone control since the factory schematic and Aion's schematic differs in that spot; the low pass filter cap in the big muff style tonestack toggles between 1nF(Aion mode) and 10nF(stock mode). The switch acts a Mid/SCoop switch.

Crowther Hot Cake 2008 version

 Mode and XLF switches was internal DIP switches in original units but is moved to the outside per Aion Anomaly Vintage Distortion project. Schematic and circuit info is avaiable HERE.

Dinosaural OPA-101 Overdriven Pre Amp

 Just traced by Aion Fx as their Ixuea project. This layout is slightly modified compared to the original pedal. First, stock units had a fixed low pass filter before the volume control. The resistor in the filter is now replaced by an external tone control. Secomd, it is wired for true bypass with the input buffer hardwired.

 

Echoplex EP-3 Pre Amp / Aion Ares

 Aions Ares project which is based on Echoplex EP-3 Pre Amp which includes an onboard voltage doubler for more headroom. Schematic and info on J FET selection avaiable HERE.

'Note that there is two ground connections on the board, the purpose is to reduce any potential noise from the charge pump.  Those wires can be connected to any off board ground points like your audio jacks and DC jack. I also replaced the Drain resistors with trimmers for fine tune the bias.

Univox/Shin Ei UD-50 Uni Drive w Aion "Monad" mods

This one has been modified for regular stompbox use and more useful controls. Also a feedback trimpot has been added to achieve more gain on tap. Aion's Monad projects suggest a 10k trimpot but I suggest a much larger value to be able to turn it into a heavy high gain fuzz.
