The pinout is identical once you flip them 180 degrees, Q1, Q3 and Q4 should have the flat side facing right if you are using 2N5088's and Q2 should have the flat side facing left for a 2N3906.
Today fuzz friday, so i have made PCB & built it today.Q1 tried mpsa18, bc 549, bc 550,2n5088,realy good sound, but left germanium mp38a, hfe 90. Q 2 should have hfe more 250! I used hfe 280.

ReplyDeleteYes it is based on the Aion schematic so 2N5088 and 2N3906 can be used, just flip them around.

DeleteGotcha. I was just going to make sure the pins matched, so the image orientation wasn’t as important as the actual pin placement in the circuit.
