Plenty of gain, but the LEDs seem to provide more of an overdrive than distortion. This probably sounds great through a cranked amp, but it’s getting late for that. Thanks again Anders!
finally got around to this one, and for some reason, i'm getting more of a treble boost/very mild OD. nothing even approaching distortion. anyone else have this problem? can't find any errors in my build. i was on a real streak for months, and i've been having not such good luck these past few weeks or so :(
Making this one now, but with a few people mentioning that the gain is quite mild, if I switched the blue led for a red one would it give the circuit more gain by reducing the head room and clipping earlier?
Ok, this one’s good to go! Please tag it!
