  1. Just finished this one up, and it’s a unique sounding distortion. With higher hfe trannies and schottky diodes I was able to get it into muffish territory although imo it’s better with stock components and using it as a distortion rather than a fuzz. The germanium diodes really tame the highs and round everything off. If anything it’s quite dark.

    1. Yeah, quite unique sounding OD for sure, will definitely try out your suggestion using shottkeys as it is a bit dark and tame now.
      But I found out that it is very dependent on gear used. Stock into a solid state amp it didn't do much for me but a good tube amp really brought it to life. Also low single coils pickups really brightens it up making it almost shrill when the tone control is dimed.

  2. Forgot to mention, it can be shrunk by one row vertically as row ”s” has nothing on it.

  3. built it an april. Tone stack i put like original big muff, si diodes in the first stage (ge was really low out& sustaine), ge in the second. Nice sweet sound, not so dark.I think something wrong in scheme? It is sound so far from demos...
