Just build one and i was tjinking also add the bias Pot.......Does the 50k pot, have a good sweep over all? Does the Cornish Buffer fixed that noisy end? Thanks in advance
I built one using this layout with a Cornish buffer on front, but I'm getting a lot of noise, so much that makes it unusable. I also put Bias external with a 50k pot but the useful range is very limited, and very close to the point where the sound cut off. In that range it sounds quite gated and the volume is pretty low. I tried various diodes with same results. Does anyone had similar problems?

DeleteBuilt with the bias trim as its own 50k pot. I also added a Cornish buffer in front of it as it is noisy!! thanks.
