I built the Micro. It sounds pretty good, if memory serves. The above board is a bit thinner but it also requires a rotary switch. So it'll probably take up even more space, if that's the concern.
Thanks much, Tom! Yep I was thinking I should just build the micro. I've already built a version of the Junior which is only slightly different than the Micro. Mine has an 8-Bit knob instead of the Jr's switch, which is nice. I figure I'm missing out on something (maybe just the Filter, to be honest..) so I should build this one too! Now that I look at both, I'm not missing much. I'd love to cobble together a stripboard version that has only ONE clipping setting (LED, so no switch necessary), the Filter switch, as well as Vol, Tone, Fuzz, and 8-Bit knobs. I have to wonder how big an impact the Filter switch has, to be honest... Gonna take a look at Anders's Micro layout and see how I can do this...
Has anybody successfully built this layout? The GFX seems verified, but I'd rather build this one since it's *slightly* thinner...
