Have you checked your footswitch wiring? If the LED lights up in in both settings it means that your ground connection isn't switched of in bypass mode.
Hey thanks, that was the problem! I tied the LED ground into the circuit ground leading to the footswitch. Once I fixed that it works like it should. Much appreciated
When I wire the LED to the board as shown it stays on whether the circuit is engaged or not
