Requested a few times so here it is. It is based on Boss CE-2 but it has a few useful addons and mods. Schematic is avaiable HERE.

  3. Hello fuzzhead, what goes in the y6 section? I already checked the schematic but there is confusion of which 47k resistor it is

  6. Hi... On "Input"... There must be a capacitor 47nF first... Then 1K resistor... Or is there no difference?

  9. Still wrestling with this one. The bottom right most LED isn't lighting and neither is the rate LED. I looked over the schematic and found nothing. I did notice that pin 7 of the TL022 isn't getting voltage...which is odd. Pin 3 is getting voltage. I checked solder joints. Anyone else have trouble with this?

    2. I've used a MIJ CE-2 for...a couple decades. And I know that this is essentially the exact circuit. Walrus nailed it with this design. Very lush and versatile. Not noisy at all. Very nice indeed.

  10. Hi there, thanks so much for sharing this layout! I've got a few questions about the circuit that I was hoping someone could help me out with. First, is lug 3 on the SPDT switch supposed to be left alone? I didn't see it mentioned in the layout. Second, D6 is listed as "1N5817" but it's not on the layout. Is the dark grey D4 displayed in column 31 supposed to be the placement for that diode? And finally, for the LED, I see that the (+) goes to column 33, row 4 on the circuit. Can the (-) simply be connected anywhere to ground? Or do you connect the (-) leg to the 3PDT switch? For reference, I'm used to following the off-board wiring guide for true bypass from the Tagboard FX Layouts site and I wasn't sure if the same guidelines ought to apply here as well. Thanks in advance for any guidance you're able to offer!

    1. Switch 3 is not connected, D4 is your power protection diode (for tidiness the opposite side of a dual op amp is used so it won't match the schematic exactly). The anode of your LED connects to the + and the cathode connects to ground. The rate LED will pulse when plugged in, regardless of the circuit being engaged or not. The status LED - connects to your 3pdt switch. The Tagboard site is an authority and a sister site. You can trust what they say. And this layout works very well, Anders did an excellent job. Well worth a build. Feel free to ask any questions. One of us will try to help...eventually haha.

    2. Hi Tom, thanks for the quick reply! Are you saying that D4 in the layout does in fact refer to the 1N5817? And on the layout, the "LED+" that connects to column 33, row 4... is that the anode from the status LED?

    3. Yes, look at the note below the layout. You can trust that the layout works as it should. The 1N5817 is your power protection diode. The LED + connected to the CLR is your indicator LED which will connect to your footswitch.
