You can tag this one verified. I built it with 2n5457's and it sounds killer. I'm not sure what the bias voltages are supposed to be, so i'm doing some research to find out. For the time being i'v just been tuning it by ear and I've got it sounding pretty darn good. i'll post recommended voltages when i find em.
Thanks for the link! It seems to be even more responsive at the voltages from that thread. Depending on how much bass you like you might want to tune it to your own taste, because it is a bit bass heavy. So far I really like this circuit though. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for this. It's a great layout but on my build the Tone knob isn't doing anything. I also don't really get what the trimpots are supposed to be doing... so lots of mysteries, but still a great sound !
