Thanks! Yes it's based on op amp big muff, but with less parts count and more flexible tonestack and more gain. LM324 is a must to get that gooey crunch, more hi fidelity op amps just sounds generic and lifeless.
Hi! I just built this and great pedal, great job! Lots of really useful knob positions and lots of gain AND volume - I have been disappointed before with Big Muff circuits either lacking volume or with unappealing tonestacks... I can't wait to try this with a cranked amp!
Hey fuzzhead. This looks interesting- op amp version is the only big muff circuit I’ve bonded with. Any chance of a schematic? I prefer working on perfboard :). Thx!
Thanks for creating & uploading, fuzzhead! This is another one that I started to build a few weeks ago and didn't have all the exact values (and I wanted it to match exactly). It sounds great and I can't wait to play around with it when I box it up. The only difference is that I used blue LED's...now I must determine how to get these to be visible once I box it up. Great work!!!!!
This one sounds great! Is it related to an Op-Amp Muff? You can definitely get some cool Big Muff tones from it.

The schematic is only in my head at the moment since I lost it in hard drive crash...
DeleteGot to find some time to draw a new one...
That's pretty impressive. I don't think I could commit a fuzz face schematic to memory....
