V2 is tighter and can take high output quite good while V1 could be mushy at times but it had more overall gain...a bit to much IMHO. I guess I'll post V1 as well.
It has a pretty hefty low end with the tone control rolled back before noon but you could experiment with the clipping caps and do a "Russian muff mod". Sub 100nF caps connecting Drain of Q2 and the one that connects to the Gate of Q3 with 47nF caps. This will leave lower fequencies unaffected while higher frequencies get clipped.
I built V1 a few months back and thought it sounded pretty cool.I see quite a few component changes from V1. How would you compare V2 to V1?

DeleteOh nice! Really like the Mosfet Pie, built one too recently but like you mention, it tends to get a bit mushy. I'll give this one a go too!
