It sounds very good, like a Green Ringer with more options. It works best with fuzz set low and stacked with another distortion, but it can work fine alone.
I think that 100uF cap is a mistake... it exploded 3 times but the circuit seems to work perfectly fine without it, and the layout on tagboard fx and sabrotone have no 100uf cap. The explosions scared the shit out of me. Once again, the circuit works even after leaving the blown up 100uf cap in there
Haha, that would scare the hell out of me too. I think the cap is in the wrong way around. It shouldn't explode though. It's there for noise filtering. Try flipping the polarity, if you're brave.
That cap is DEFINITELY backward - 9v feeding straight to ground - no Bueno. Not necessary - as said, it's to filter AC hum, but can just about guarantee flipping it will fix the explod-y problem
