Just built this. It sounds great but is a bit muffled unless the fuzz is maxed. I read on another DIY site that this is the case. Would a lower value pot help?🤔
You should experiment. It may effect the overall tone of the circuit though. It looks like it's based on a fuzz face so the fuzz control may be a bit superfluous. I usually leave my FF fuzz almost maxed. The saturation will most likely allow you to trim back the gain a bit and thin out the bass.

ReplyDeleteOk 1kc is the answer. Smooth taper and no loss of brightness. This is quite a cool fuzz
