The switch is related to the clipping diodes and the dip switches allow you to select different tonal options. Also a slight boost is optional there. Settings are listed on Aion build linked above.
Yeah, I didn't account for the double link to the left. That change is redundant. If you already did it it shouldn't effect anything. The 1u was probably omitted by Anders because he deemed it unnecessary. Sorry for any confusion. I'm still not satisfied with my build. But honestly I tend to feel that way about Xotic stuff.
Been looking out for this for a while. Thanks for this. I'll give it a try as soon as I am able. Glad I have a few 5457s in my stash.
