Looks good! Funny, I was just searching for something like that at the moment. (TS with a FMV-EQ, the Timmy just didn´t sound right)) I´m gonna build it...but with asymmetric clipping, I guess.
ReplyDeleteOnly thing I see missing are the 1u caps (C5 and C11 on the schematic) in parallel with the 4.7u coupling caps. Not convinced they'd change the tone significantly, but can't tell without trying first, eh?
ReplyDeleteJust built it. Please tag it! Everything works as expected. The tone knobs tonify, though I wouldn’t mind more bass. The circuits got a lot of gain and can get pretty distorted but not over the top. Tonally, there’s a boost in upper mids that would help the guitar stand out in a live setting. I think it’s a keeper. Thank you Fuzz Head!!!
