Verified. Built this for a Windhand fan. The toneswitch was replaced by a regular tone pot. Just omit the rightmost 10k resistor and wire up the pot as per the switch labelling in the layout. (i.e. switch 1 as Tone 1 and so on). Used a 100kA pot for a bit more overall output. Regular JRC4558 op amp for IC1, metal can LM741 for IC2...
