PedalPCB have a version of this with a toggle switch and a TL013 transformer instead of the inductor (Conqueror Fuzz). Just made one and is amazing. Might be worth looking in to for a layout.
Hey Ian, I'm wondering if you can tell me if this circuit oscillates with the gain maxed? The other vero layout I'm looking at recommended removing the 220ohm resistor that filters the 9v supply, but I see it in tact in this layout.
This one is a keeper. I used a 42TM013 transformer in place of the wah inductor. It sounds good without this part of the circuit too. No oscillation at all. Thanks for the layout.

ReplyDeleteTag this one Anders, this absolutely nails the Conqueror sound - I think it even sounds better than Magical Mystery box (and much easier to make).
ReplyDeleteI used a red Fasel inductor and 2N3906 instead of 2N4125
One last thing, Gain is wired in reverse - an easy change
Cheers Anders
