Designed by Dan Coggins (Lovetone and Dinosaural). Despite its name it is more like an overdrive with asymmetric soft clipping and a tone control that pans between a low pass filter and a voltage divider.
You can tag this one verified. The circuit works, and It doesn’t sound bad at all, but in my opinion, As far as the coggins designs go, the dinosaural tube bender or the opa-101 sound much better, at least so far. I’ll keep playing around with it and report back.
