But on my 4th one, for some reason the Drive knob is at 0 gain until the last like 5% of rotation, and then it suddenly jumps to completely max gain. Any clue why this might be? I used a 50kC per usual...
Could be a bad pot. I have had those. Rare but it happens. Easy to check with a meter. Also check for errors. Sometimes I have to walk away for a few days, sometimes months but I never give up, lol.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant! You were exactly right. I measured it and it had some INSANE jump in resistance toward the end. Popped in a new pot and works like a charm.
