do you happen to have a schematic for this one still? i saw a low quality schematic on FSB but it was almost unreadable. built it and sounds pretty good, except for the switch/d3-d4 clipping section which isn't working quite right. also, i think it should be an spdt switch, no?
Following up in case anyone has a similar issue...
I wired the final clipping/low-pass switch to a DPDT on/off/on and connected it H15 so it's occurring at the volume pot instead of tone per the schematic (although I doubt that matters). Seems to work fine now, so I must've had an error in my build somewhere. Just kills me that I couldn't figure it out 'cause it's such a simple circuit!
