The mid setting (sw3) is my favorite. It has an interesting EQ curve that seems to work really well with P90 and humbucking pickups. It almost sounds like it's going through some kind of "exciter" type circuit. The first treble setting (sw4 I think) is pretty cool as it can make a humbucker sound more like a single coil pickup. I'd pick sw3 and sw2 on a toggle if I wanted to use it for bass.
You can tag it verified. There are a few unrealistic settings (YMMV), so I'll probably pick my favorite two and put them on a toggle switch.
