Hi I've made a request on some previous post bout chorus-ce1. I don't know if you are interested in this built however i found this board with a modernized version and a schematic https://lectric-fx.com/product/karaoke-chorus-v-1-0/ . Making layouts is way beyond me so please reconsider this if have some spare time on hand.
finnished it to day moved volume 1 to row I nothing happened. flipped transistors 180 and bam roared into life awesome tone and sound , only question how could i get more gain ? other than that VERRIFIED
yea man they're bs170s unless my eyes have completly degraded ? if thats the case then ive probably brought countless wrong components over time ... just stating what i had to do to fire it up ..... but aside from that amazing tone
fuzzhead , what do you think of the darkglass omnicron for the bassplayers and guitarists with downtuned guitars ? ( saw it yesterday, its not an easy one (for me) )https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?t=33707

ReplyDeleteare you serious?
DeleteThen that pcb is your best bet then?
DeleteVolume 1 should be on row I!
ReplyDeletevol1 to ground is on schematic, is that an L or I?
ReplyDeleteRow I. It's currently connected to the filtering cap after Q3 though......
Deleteground=ground, I = ground, so vol1 goes to ground! will try to build it with my last bs170's
DeleteCorrect, volume 1 is in the wrong row, as is the negative leg of that 100uF cap?
DeleteYup, volume 1 is currently on row H, not I...
Deletenegative side of that cap goes to 220cap and 47k res

DeleteIt does, but as we've said it's also currently got volume 1 going into it as well. Volume 1 needs to be on Row I.
DeleteFar as I can see, that's the only thing wrong with this layout. Move Volume 1 to row I and it's all good.
its verified lol i explained everything but my commpent "dissapeared" so its verified! thanks
DeleteI guess the blog was hungry?
Deletei guess so ... whatever lol
DeleteBuilt one up last night, all working with volume 1 moved to row I

What transistors are you using? If they had to be flipped I'm assuming they're not BS170s.
Deletethe label (s) of the transistors on the layout are correct, the orientation of the transistors should be flipped. i know cause i build this (twice)

DeleteJust finished. Sounds Great. Moved Vol 1 down to I. Didn't have to do anything else. Ive been waiting for this one for a while. Thank you.
