  1. Would make a nice on board booster, if the IC wouldn't drop out at more than 7V. That's what happens with my diy EMG SPC that's based on the LF442, too. An IC with much lover min. voltage would be better... TLV9102 maybe...
    This is my layout for the EMG SPC, it fits into the Stratocaster, replacing one of the tone pots.

    1. I always wondered what was happening there, I took this circuit out of my guitar bc of this, but I do love and use this in pedal form all the time.

  2. Yeah right? It makes the ugliest sounds when the voltage drops! I took mine out & put it in a box, this way I can run it at 9v with no problems.
