Hi fuzzhead! Thanks for posting this one! I'm excited to start this one as my current Tube Screamer clone seems pretty underwhelming. So I started working on this one today and have a couple observations: 1) That 1K (on the right, touching Tone 3 & sitting under the 1uf) is in a weird spot. I would have gone 19x14 if I had seen that prior to starting. I haven't soldered the resistors (yet) so I can get creative with that resistor but that and the Freq Sw 1 wire - it's going to be an interesting challenge. I may skip it for now (and see how it goes). 2) There are a couple of really tiny links but I placed 11.
Verified! It gets LOUD and the fat switch is pretty great. My other TS has always sounded thin and noisy. I really have to tweak the amp to get it to sound decent.. This one has a much fatter sound and has more gain on tap. I have to play around with the other clip and freq switch (and maybe test a few different LED's) but I'm definitely planning to box this one up.
Also, I put the 1UF in on an angle towards the 330 and moved the 1K over by one spot and raised angle as well so I didn't have a problem with the wiring. Its not the neatest set up but it works just fine.
