Got this one working, but I'm not sure about it. It's quite muffled and the tone control does very little. The gain seems to have more of an impact on the tone than the tone control does.
Actually, I found really weird the values in the tone section: small 220R and small 1k Tone pot in series to a big cap 470nF. I think that could be better, changing some value.
I really fancy this one, has a sound like so many old punk songs. Checked a couple of demo's and it seems like the tone does very little so your build is probably spot on Ben. Only one difference between the schem and the layout is the 150p cap is 100p in the schem but I can't see that making any difference
Yeah I think you’re right. I just checked everything and watched the demos so I think it’s fine. With the gain set quite high and the tone at 3 o clock it really sings. With the gain rolled back it gets a bit dull.

I agree it’s a weird design choice. I’ll be having a go at changing some values because in certain positions it does sound really good!

DeleteIt seems that this one is verified then?
DeleteI'll give it a tag for now...
Yep, I think it’s working fine.
DeleteMade an enturely unmojoed version of this and it is a great use of a 4069!
