This is one those really cheap 80s distortions that sounds harsh, compressed and trebly. But it might be worth modding towards something decent? The clippers can be subbed for LEDs for some headroom, both 47pF caps can be inreased to shave off some high end. Also the Tone control and the 10nF cap next to it can be adjusted.Oh, and don't forget to use an expensive Burr Brown IC for the op amp...

Awesome! My first pedal was the Rocktek Distortion, good old times. Sound shitty in my memories. But i want to build it, for science and Satan!
