Creepy Fingers Lonely Heart Fuzz

Finally a new trace on a Creepy Fingers pedal! It is quite a heavily modified take on the  the fuzz circuit found in the Vox UL730 and 7120 amplifiers. These were used by The Beatles during the recording of Revolver and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Schematic is avaiable HERE.

  1. Any suggestions for an alternative to the BC319?

    1. BC549 is close spec wise. Which also can be subbed with 2N5088. So, nothing odd or fancy is required here.

  3. Cool little fuzz. Reminds me of what I imagine a Selmer Buzz Tone sounds like. The Gate trim might be good top mounted. And the Fuzz control could probably be C taper. I'd probably leave it turned all the way up. Thanks Anders

    2. Sorry for that. The schematic has those going cathodes to ground but now i see you have d1 going cathode to ground.
