I'm still debugging my build of this layout. I am definitely passing signal (sounds pretty cool). Presence, juice pot/switch are functioning fine but treble, bass, and gain pots don't seem to have effect at the moment.
I think the 1nf cap (c7) is not touching gain3 and the 470p cap. I wanted to give this layout a try, can you try to link rows J and O on the right side? (12 col maybe)
Yeah, the James tone stack can be a bit confusing when looking at schematics... The dots in the schematic is connections between components. In this case the line between C7 and Treble 3 "jumps" over the line that goes from Treble 2 to Gain 3.
Hi!So this is like an Orange amp pre emulation?
ReplyDeleteYes, it sure is.
DeleteI built the pcb of this its also pretty great

DeleteAre you sure? 1nF (C7) shouldn't touch the gain pot at all according to the schematic. Only Treble 3 and 220nF/100k.
DeleteIn my untrained eyes... https://prnt.sc/2NK95W9TVW6P 🤔
