I own one of these. The controls are pretty whacky. There are also a couple socketed components for easy modding. Not sure which. Maybe I'll crack it open.
It's C11 which is the 330pf connected to pins 4-5 of CD4049. Increasing or decreasing it will change the presence response. The other socketed value is the 10nf connected to "Red Gain" 1. I'm not totally clear about this one. Joe Perkins actually demos some of these options on his YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/kx1LRGJKwqI
Thanks Fuzzhead!!I feel bad to have to make requests through other projects, but i would like this: It`s the JHS Orange Peeler http://effectslayouts.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Citrus-Press-build-doc.pdf Cheers!!!
I understand the controversy about Josh's less than full disclosure related to credit due to circuit pioneering. It isn't ethical to do that to guys who do this for the love of it and profit little to not at all. But I do love the JHS show. The Morning Glory is a nice Blues Breaker and I am also curious about his compressor. The one with a Rat built in especially.
Also, why do you never see any Old Blood Noise stuff traced? Seems conspicuously absent as a DIY option.
Yeah, maybe but they certainly have their share of fuzz pedals and other analog based shiz. Just struck me as a little odd. Maybe guys just assume support them by giving them money. Which is cool. I crave more Fairfield stuff too. I own a couple from them but I want ALLOFTHEM.
Oh yes, this thing is mint!! A must build

OBNE does a lot of modulation and reverb, so I'm sure there's proprietary algorithms and digital components that make tagboard all but impossible
