EHX Muff Fuzz - Op amp version

The last layout for a while, I honesly don't know when the next one will be uploaded, probably in january. There is three eye surgeries on the horizon...

Anyway, I had athe change to trace an old EHX Muff Fuzz of the op amp variety a few weeks ago. As you know, EHX used parts whatever they had on hand in the 70s so there is lots of different schematics online so I have included several options for some of the values.

My unit had a 1458 op amp, silicon diodes, 47nF for C1 and 100k for R7.

  16. This Muff is verified is anyone fancies building. Used a 500K trimmer for R7, 10n for C1 and silicon diodes. Sounds good and very loud.

  17. How does it sound compared to the normal op amp muff? I'm guessing it's kinda like a one knob muff since there's no drive and tone stack, and I assume only a pair of diodes compared to the op amps 6 otherwise volume drop would have neen too much.

    1. Its probably closer to a DOD 250 than a Muff
