Outstanding Fuzzhead! Love the ReezaFratzitz and everything I've heard of the Psidiyauwot gets to another level. Thanks for all your layouts Love the ultra hi gain pedals
Pin 8 (Output Gate) and Pin 9 (Input Gate) on the IC need their components swapped: ---the resistor (R14 - 10K) that follows C16 (10nF) should connect to Pin 9 (currently on Pin 9) ---10M should go from O14 to S14, 27K from N15 to S15 ---GAIN 2 needs a connection to Pin 8 (currently on Pin 9)
J1 label should be High 3
Move Level 1 up to K1 and remove the cut at K4
Made all those changes and now it's playing like a dream :) as always, thank you for the layout!!
I noticed that the level control doesn't completely mute when it's turned all the way CCW. is there any reason it'd be a bad idea to just jumper R7 (the 10K resistor in series with the Level pot) so that it totally kills the signal?
Just built this and in 2 minutes before work got to try it out. It exceeds my expectations and "may" be my new go to hi gain pedal. And I've built a truckload of dirt pedals.

ReplyDeleteCaught a few things during my build...

ReplyDeletePerfect. Thank for catching those mistakes.

ReplyDeleteIt works perfect, verified. Thanks for your designs!
ReplyDeleteThe EMMA Discumbobulator mk2 would be great, too.
ReplyDeleteI built it, everything works, but it's clearly lacking gain (mild gain distortion at the best). I used a 4069UBE, is that ok ? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI haven't built this, but just looking over the schematic this is sourced from, the IC is a 4069UB - so that's not likely the cause.
