  1. I couldn't find a sound clip for the V1, but V2 looks and sounds fantastic !

    1. Hi, i don't know if that 'v1' exist. I traced some fjord fuzz with handdrawing schematic he post on his instagram. I think it's the heart of his products and he probably add features on it. However it's sound really close to the demo.

  3. Hello. Isn't the diode of D1 D2 the opposite?
In my case, there was no sound due to the layout. If you wire from the + side of 10uf to the cathode anode, you will hear an octave fuzz sound.
Transistors are 2n3905 for Q1 and 2 and Q3 is
I used 2sc828. hfe is compatible.

    1. The layout is now updated with the correct diode orientation for D1 and D2.

  4. Because there is a lot of noise
Added a 1n capacitor between the beta of Q1 and the emitter of Q2.

  5. The 10uf capacitor is in the opposite direction, is that okay?
This circuit looks like a fox x tone machine without the tone circuit and the final transistor. The opposite is true compared to foxx.

    1. Yes, I had some doubts about the orientation of the caps. But I decided to follow the schematic. And evilarsen breadboarded the circuit and he said it worked both ways around. Technically it might not be correct but...

And yes, it is essentially a stripped down Foxx Tone Machine. It should be easy to add a octave on/off switch.

  6. This isn't working for me. Checked everything several times and I don't seem to find any mistake. The only thing I changed is I ommited d3 and placed a jumper, so I really doubt that's the culprit.

The only sound I get out of it is a slight kind of crackling sound when I turn the volume pot.
