A fairly simple to build auto wah that is supposed to sound really good.

  1. Fired first time. Sounds absolutely great! Love it! Box it! Thanks a lot!
BC 184C and BAV21. No mojo, no fun!

By the way, my first pedal ever was (is, I still have it) a Guyatone. A historic one. And a shame his layout doesn't exist here. Shame on you, Anders!... :O)

    2. I have a sweet spot for Guyatone pedals, too (as well as Rolling and Aria) :)
As far as I know, Rolling pedals were OEM (also sold under various other brands), but Guyatone and Aria used their own designs.
The PS-0xx serie is nice, as well as the previous serie, the PS-00x

  2. By the way, there are a new pedal company that is building very interesting takes on old pedals - TWA, Totaly Wicked Audio. One of them is this Rocket Wah; the other is the Systech Harmonic Energizer. Both sound stellar!

Guyatone Zoom Box Distortion PS-102 (with the UA741, 2 germanium diodes and 1 silicon).
I know it's the same as the Vox 1901 Distortion (and almost the same as the MXR Distortion +), but, to me, it's the best distortion ever. No love like the first!...
The guys in Tagboard Effects made a layout of it. I compared it with my own pedal and it's way far from the real thing. Can't explain exacly why, as it is such a simple circuit... :O/ True they miss a diode.
Bear in mind, that I'm not requesting it. No need for a copy: I have the graal!... :O) But just for historic reasons, and easy as it is, You shouldn't rest on the barbaric age.
