Per request. A few things changed compared to the schematic; Bass ctrl outer lugs swapped, the two parallel 220uf power filter caps changed to a single 470uF (but you will get away with a 220uf or 100uf...), series protection diode added and bypass mute switching is omitted. SCHEMATIC.
If I wanted to put the trim pots as ev renal pots. Would I use linear?

DeleteI can't get this one to work properly. Plenty of gain (albeit not good) however none of the pots nor switch have any effect on the sound. I've tried both NE5532 and LM833 chips.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't the 470uf power filter cap go to pin eight of the IC... I've changed it and it made a world of difference, however still not quite right.
ReplyDeleteThis is verified. That 470 cap needs to be placed between the power and ground.. lines 2 and 3 not 1 and 4. Everything works once done.
