    1. If I remeber correctly, this was the the schematic I used:
      https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yWpyq-5bgjw/Wq24AGdoRgI/AAAAAAAAD9M/6Va6zxQdlJASLgXynlUp5xBURVbWpiCdQCLcBGAs/s1600/501144c33dd38fda9abc722430cc2bee.gif

The cermatic 100nF cap is typo, it should be 100pF. (I'll correct it during the nextcoming weekend)

The output is at the upper right corner.:-)

  3. yes, maybe i should have been more specific, there is no signal coming from it. ive built 2 (thinkin i mucked up somewhere) but still no joy.

    1. Okay, the jumper that connects the bottom row (on the right) to the row above the IC needs to go a row higher (to connect to ground). The schematic I was looking at had very different values, so not sure about that. I've traced the path about halfway through so far.

    2. Yes, just spotted that mistake as well. The link hole should be moved E8 to D8. See the updated layout above.

  4. Built, you can tag it as verified. My notes: 47k resistor next to IC is bias point, may need adjusting, I do that observing waveform in DAW, before plugging clipping diodes; 4558 works fairly well for IC; it sound fairly dark, even with tone knob at max, it can be brighten up by lowering 6.8k resistor on bottom row, actually I put a link there...

  5. Built it, sounds amazing as I expected. Is there any way to add a tad more bass? Thanks in advance.

    1. Try to increase the 10nf from input to 1uf, and the two 100nf on the top right to 220uf.
