Tag it, man! Build it, and (for me) works beautifuly. More on the od side, I mean. Hundred thanks for the layout and keep the great work! Wish you the best.
Socket the trannies and also tried with BC517 (instead of MPS13) and MPSA18 (as NPN silicon) and it becomes my prefered kit. A litle more gain, I think. Cheers!
Last recomendation: As the level was not so high, found the resistor from input/ Q1 Gate was not 1K but 1M. So I add another row to the layout and put 1M resistor just after the input and before Q1 (and consequently erased the 1K resistor after G). Now the pedal is perfect, with lots of level and gain. Cheers!
Sounds great! I see other layouts of this with a A500K pot for Light, even though the original has the 50 as per this layout. Wonder if there were multiple versions?

Awesome! Thanks for verifying! I'll tag it right away.
DeleteDid you find the bass (meat) knob to be quite subtle?

ReplyDeleteNice catch! The correct resistor value should give lots of more gain. Thanks! I'll update the layout accordingly.
