Couldn't get this going with silicon at Q2-Q3 and germanium at Q1. Tried all silicon and it sounded bad, especially when rolling off the volume. Tried all germanium and it sounded great!! So, a nice little NPN germanium Tonebender II

I wish I had read Ian's comment about this circuit before building it impatiently. I had the same results as he did it seems. It works but sounds bleck. The more germs I threw at it, the better it sounded. But still not a keeper. frown face
