ah ok so you did not make this layout but the one from tagboard ( yeah that looks more like the schematic) cool thanks! i only have 5088's but also 548's will use sockets and probbably will change the in and output caps
i expect it to sound extremely thin lol https://soundcloud.com/charge-d-a-m/fuzz-sale-sunn-buzz-2 have you checked that sample ? do not really like that sound
i dont think this layout is ever going to work ; check this schematic

Coincidentally, I threw this together just last night. It works. Chose it because I had a board that size.

Deletehey tom! which one did you build ? this one or the one from tagboard? ( the tagboard layout looks more like the schematic even with the lm317 )
DeleteThe tagboard with the regulator. Cool fuzz. I’d like a bit more sustain. I used BC558’s. 5088’s also worked fine.

DeleteYou'd expect it to sound bright but it doesn't. Breaks up like a Fz-1. I liked it with the gain back a little and the Level maxed.

Deleteoh yeah that's more like it ! :D
DeleteNot my favorite fuzz but it’s aight.
DeleteThanks for the headsup guys. I will draw a new layout with a LM317 regulator.
