  2. Just built this and whilst it sounds great it's a bit gated. I've use a selection of transistors all at general Tone Bender values, but I can't get it quite right. Collector voltage of Q3 is -8.2v, so I guess I could vary the 20k resistor to vary that as it is high but I would imagine lowering the voltage would cause more gating.

    Of course if the pedal's meant to be like that it's fine, but from the description I'm not sure.

  3. Ok. What What is the Hfe and leakage? Do you have a TB Mk3 set in there?

    1. I have Q1 46hfe 0.013ma, Q2 48/0.019 and Q3 83/0.299. I also tried 63/64/98 hfe with similar leakages as the first set.

    2. Your transistors is spot on for a TB3. And the collector voltage is way to high indeed, it should be closer to -2v.
      I don't know if you have checked the usual suspects yet like solder bridges, cuts and component placement?
