i build this but i used the plumes layout. the plumes layout is more elegant than this one; smaller, less links, less cuts and when you look at the schematic it really are just a few value differences and the two tl072 instead of tl074. sounds really niceon my bass ! thanks !

DeleteIt looks like it's part of the diode lift. The middle switch setting will be louder and clearer.
