Yeah, this one looks quite interesting for sure. A hybrid of a LED Tubescreamer, Rat, that Björn Juhl signature feedback filter cap, a James tonestack and some fixed tone shaping and boost at the second op amp stage. Very cool design indeed...
Built this one today and everything seems to work as it should. I did sub the volume and gain pots, but I plan to change them to original spec when I can. Sounds good!
Built it to day and it is a bit fizzy. I swapped the op amp for a 5532 and it helped some. I did use 5k1 resistors instead of 5k6 which could change the bodie plot a little but....well just and observation.
You are on top of your game! Really interested to see how the 220pF cap in an extended feedback loop makes a difference in the top-end.
