Foxx sold a couple of wah variants in the early 70s, often combined with a Foxx Tone Machine circuit. There was an inductorless version and a Cry Baby variant with a 4 posistion "Wah Tone" selector switch. This layout is for the inductorless version. HERE is the schematic.
Chalk this one up for Verified. Works great and sound great. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSweet! Love these simple wah circuits without that expensive inductor!

Couldn't get this to work for me. I didn't have any 2n5133s, so tried a couple of 5088s instead, as was the general consensus on t'internet forums as a suitable alternative. Didn't work, maybe I'll I'lltry it again when I get some 5133s..
ReplyDeletei used 2n5089 and it sounds good. thanks!
ReplyDeleteCheers Bud, I'll give that a go. Ended up opting for a different circuit to go into my wah enclosure. Think it was Gyrator Wah Wah, which sounds great! Although the enclosure it's self was a POS.
