Sunmachine Sonic Devices Fuzz O)))

There was quite some hype and interest in this one a few years ago but it was never fully traced. Obviously it was based on a DAM Meathead but and the product description mentions a low pass filter for the "Low" control. guitarfxservice traced it a few days ago (thank you!) and it turns out that it is a stock Meathead with an input cap selector switch and the "Low" control is basically Pre Gain control. Nothing new under the sun(n) I upload this to demistify it.

  3. Built this and video demo is on Unholy Audio YouTube channel. Thanks for the great layout! I'll put a link here but not sure if it will show up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdTpkrKkTxQ&t=12s

  4. I'm new to building pedals and I really want to build this but I don't understand where to wire the pots, jacks and footswitch. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

  6. Hi, i made this one after assembling the Evil Fuzz (which works perfectly, thanks for the layout). Now I'm a bit disappointed! Maybe I was expecting a fuzz that drone, but there's no sustain-the fuzz disappears as soon as you release the action on the strings with an unmusical crackling sound... Is this an assembly error somewhere (I did it a second time to check and it's the same)? I listened to the demo Unholy Audio and it sounds identical, just that you can't hear the release of the notes at the very end on the video...
So is this one of its native features? Is it possible to improve the length of the sustain by changing something? Also, compared to the Evil, it's sorely lacking in boost! Perhaps with other transistors it would be more powerful? Thanks
