    2. Haha, well I have very limited knowledge. But ultimately I like the idea of a community helping each other when and where we can. You can't and shouldn't have to answer every question. I'm sure everyone would prefer your expertise. But that's too much to ask of one guy. Thanks for being as hands-on as you are.

    1. Small follow up - reverse the lug numbers - as it is everything but volume is backward. IE lug 3 needs to be lug 1 . Other than that, sounds just like the demos.

    1. Excellent! Thanks for verifying.
The layout is updated with the correct lug numbering.

      And thanks for the demo!

  8. Is this definitely verified? Can't find the schematic but it's just a rat and the 2 x 100k for the bias voltage seems waaaay too high, surely they should they be 10k?

    1. I built it - it works, and works nicely. 100k for the voltage divider should? be fine as Vref to the op-amp is connected via 1M - which would be 10 to 1. My knowledge on that might be off though.

Reference the power supply section - 100k is definitely correct.

    4. My bad, most of the rat variants I've seen use 10k for the bias voltage but I did forget to check the original. I was only getting 1v or so on the bias with the 100k, dropped them down to 10k and now getting a healthy half of the supply, must have been something else though.

  9. Thanks for making me look this over with fresh eyes. The havoc switch appears to just form a feedback loop between the output and input through a 100k resistor. Replacing the 100k resistor at the bottom right corner with a 100k pot would make the havoc mode much more useful. Gonna try this when I get home.
