You’re probably right, although I’ve not tried the Purple Plexi yet. It works fine, so I’d say it’s verified, but the tone control is almost pointless.
Yes, I tried that after reading about it on one of the forums, but it didn't make much difference to the tone sweep. I think it's just a very subtle tone control.

ReplyDeletefor what it's worth - as far as Marshall-flavored Lovepedal 386 circuits, this one is more amp-like than the Purple Plexi - to my ears anyway.
