Black Effect Pedals Lava Machine

Tobias from the band Green Orbit have traced a few pedals from a now obsolete producer called Black Effect Pedals. They were producing mostly fuzzes on the heavier end of the scale, suited for doom and stoner toanz.

Lava Machine is based on Univox Unidrive with some tweaks and addons. Two onboard trimpots to tune in bias and the input signal, The gain control affect the negative feedback between the output buffer and input transistor and it has a treble cut tone control. According to Tobias it does boost, overdrive and fuzztone really well by using your guitar volume control.

  3. Just built this. You can tag it. Sounds great!
Put the input trimmer as a B10k pot. Might do the same with the Bias trimmer because it is handy for going from velcro spit to full almost muff fuzz.
