Finished building this today. Passes signal, but very gainy, farty, gated. Gain pot doesn’t seem to do much. Checked over my build and everything looks ok. Will do some more troubleshooting at some point against the schematic. Not sure if you can see anything obvious on the layout that might be the issue?
Right, got this working. Checked against the schematic and the layout was missing a 20K between pins 6 & 7 of IC1. Stuck one in standing up next to the 560pf. Sounds great now, nice and grindy with loads of bottom end.
Sorry for missing your earlier post! But I'm glad you got it working, spotted the missing resistor and verified the layout!:-) I see no other sollution than having a standing resistor for the 20k but I can live with it...;-)
